Stairs and Landing *After*

Theis, with a little help from a neighborhood 14-year-old who has performed a few chores for us for $5 an hour ("Feel like raking some leaves this weekend, Dane?"), got the stairs and second floor landing painted before Thanksgiving visitors arrived! here are some of the after shots:

From the TV room looking at the stairs. Ultimately, we'll put some bookshelves up here to use this weird space.

Yay! I don't think we'll have to repaint in May! Although we do have a lot of trim work (as in ALL OF IT) to paint. How soon until Sprout will be able to help with the painting?? Or maybe we should call Dane again...
